Miso Tonkatsu

Yesterday I went to Nagoya and had the best tonkatsu I've ever eaten. Apparently Nagoya is famous for using a miso sauce instead of the standard tonkatsu sauce. I have to say, the miso sauce was AMAZING. I think I want to learn to make it the same way at home.

haven't had miso katsu in a long time but the other day I went to tonkatsu place near my work. I ordered the most popular platter (as they call) but I got too full and decided to give a piece to my colleague. Shame on me lol. Kris, you need to be my food buddy here in Tokyo so that I can start eating lots of food again, hehe.
